The biggest K-pop awards from the Brazilian internet is back. The Prêmio Anual K4US (or PAK for besties) started few days ago (07) and the announcement of the winners is scheduled for next December 17th. Check out everything about this year’s awards and spread the word about it!

PAK (Prêmio Anual K4US) is an Award conceived by K4US, a brazilian news and opinion portal about asian pop culture in general. PAK is the first and biggest Asian pop award in Brazil and this is the 4th edition, YEY!! The award aims to give visibility to the community of Asian pop culture fans in Brazil, opening space for them to express, in a fun and interactive way, their tastes and preferences in the segment.

07/11/2022: Beginning of voting and registrations to run for prizes.*
10/12/2022: Ending of the voting period and registration to run for prizes.
17/12/2021: Live of the awards ceremony announcing the winners of each category.

HOW DOES IT WORKS?

PAK is an event that celebrates asian pop culture, especially South Korean pop culture, through an award that, based on popular votes, rewards the best artists of the year. Fans can vote online (once a day) for their fav artists nominated on 31 categories, only one choice per category.

WHEN IT BEGINS?

Voting began on November 07, 2022, at noon (12:00 BRST), and ends on December 10th, 2022, also at noon (12:00 BRT). Winners of each category will be officially announced during the December 17th, 2022 at 7:00 pm BRST’s live stream on our YouTube account.
The Livestream will be held on K4US YouTube channel so subscribe now and do not forget to activate the notifications!

HOW TO VOTE?

1. Access www.k4us.com.br/pak2022 
2. Scroll down the page and find your fav artist’s name and the categories they are nominated
3. Click on the name of your favorite artist on each category one by one.
4. Then click on “VOTAR!” on each poll.
   
   No registration needed to vote and only one vote per IP address is computed a day.

HOW IS THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNERS?

On December 17th, 2021, at 7:00 pm (BRST), the winners are going to be announced live through a Live Stream on Youtube. The presenters of the web-event are going to be people involved with asian pop culture in Brazil, like web celebrities and influencers of K-Pop, K-Drama and BL world.

The Award will also have special guests. YES! Some of the nominated artists can be confirmed. Stay Tuned.

THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR THE FANS?

Yes, but only people who live in Brazil can participate.
There will be a giveaway draw of 8 pairs of HallyuConn tickets, festival that is going to be held on January 22, 2023 🖤

BUT WHAT IS HALLYUCONN?

It’s an event produced by Far Music Entertainment that is going to happen on January 21st and 22nd in São Paulo. Two days to enjoy the concerts, fansigns and take group pictures with the artists that have been confirmed. Talking about it, the awesome Lineup of HallyuConn has been announced and you will be able to see the boygroup TAN, the girlgroup CRAXY and also the soloists Woosoo, U-Kwon, Hello Gloom and From20 😍

WHAT IS THE GOAL WITH THE AWARDS?

This award is a different way to identify which artists can be brought to Brazil in the coming years, as an audience survey, as well as, of course, a way to give visibility to fans. This way the artists can see that the audience in Brazil strives for them and love them. It is not a guarantee that the artists nominated in the award will come to Brazil, but rather an attempt by the country to be more recognized for the popularity of K-Pop and K-Dramas that grows every day.

HOW THE NOMINEES WERE CHOSEN?

The nominees for each category were chosen by the K4US commission, based on releases from 11/01/2021 to 10/31/2022, considering the scenario and consumption of K-Pop, K-Dramas and BL’s in Brazil. This way, the votes are adapted to the characteristics of our country.

• When does the voting period start and when does it end?

• How many times can I vote?
R: limited by one vote per category each day.

• Is it necessary to vote in all categories?
A: No, it isn’t. You can vote just on the categories of your choice.

• Do I have to register?
A: No, you don’t have to! PAK’s voting is super fast and easy.

• Can I tag my favorite artist on PAK2022’s posts to support them?
A: Yes, please! You just not can, as you may do it!
This shows how big is the strength of Brazilian fans, the importance of the awards in our country and how big Asian Pop culture is in our culture.
Also, as we have many people from all over the world joining us interaticting and promoting the awards, it makes your fav artist know and really understand/realize they have fans united from everywhere. Isn’t it amazing?

• Is it possible to use different devices to vote since it is once a day?
A: No. The vote is computed by IP (by all devices connected to the same wifi). If you can’t, try a few hours later.

• Is it an official event?
A: Yes! Artists and fanbases are communicated and everything is done with a lot of responsibility. It also has a closing ceremony announcing the winners and the artists receive a digital certificate.

• What does the artist win? Is there a physical prize?
A: No. The winner receive a digital certificate for their agencies, which they can flaunt it together with their other awards.

• “Why is it taking so long to load the page through mobile”?
