Just like in our previous articles, where we did 3 lists for you guys just with Brazilian illustrators, this time we decided that it was time to talk with the Illustrators from all aorund the world again! Because art cannot be stopped. So meet now some International K-Pop artists who make arts inspired by K-Pop and their artists.

We tried to bring illustrators from all around the world to compose this list, as we did in the part one, and our intention is to show how K-Pop is global and completely diverse. Also, we cannot forget to thank those talented artists for making these fantastic works. Like we said in our other list, and I repeat here: we really love to see our favorite artists with different perspectives and rereading.

So, let’s meet these telented people?

Ilayda / @serpentire

Nationality: German

Ilayda is a self-taught digital artist from Germany with a huge interest in K-Pop!

What is your biggest inspiration to keep drawing?

K-Pop is one of my biggest inspirations for these past 5 years! Which made me enjoy experimenting different colours and concepts within my art and, consequently, that lead me to enjoy art and drawing even more 💖

Chery / @cherymochi

Nationality: Argentine

Being part of the Latin America line, Chery is a 25 year old artist who loves to draw Fanarts and original characters. And she is currently working on her own AU!

What is your biggest dream as an artist and what are you most inspired by to draw?

My biggest dream is to be able to live from what I like, which is art.

I feel inspired by the style of manhwas and anime! I hope you like my drawings and support my art! Muchas gracias 💗

Lisa / @kunayoo

Nationality: Russian

Lisa is a digital artist from Russia and when asked about her style of drawing, she says that she doesn’t have one in particular. She just draws what she likes.

Bell / @taeoceans

Nationality: U.S.A / American

Bell is a artist from the U.S. that creates stylized painted artworks.

How would you describe, not just your style of drawing, but your art in itself? Your inspirations and where your creativity comes from per say?

I mainly create content of BTS, but I have interest in horror and fantasy too! I often like to blend these together to create unique pieces.

I’ve been making digital art since I was 14 and now at 21, I’m proud of how far I’ve come, with the support of my ARMY friends💜 

Victoria / @polka_bun

Nationality: Filipino-American

Victoria graduated from university a few months ago, and even though her main job is graphic design, she loves to draw in her spare time. And she wants and is planning to launch her own webcomic in the near future!

What are your biggest inspirations and hobbies? Tell us everything!

I’m inspired by a lot of children’s storybook illustration and webcomic types of art styles. I also love video games and animated shows/movies which they make a medium of inspiration for me as well.

María Angelica / @artskny

Nationality: Colombian

One more to be part of our Latin America line haha, María Angelica, also known as Ange, is Colombian and defines her artistic style as a digital-watercolor.

What are you most interested in or just like to draw? And what other things besides art, you really love?

I’m interested in illustrating nature and ordinary places where K-Pop artist are the main characters. Besides painting and drawings, I also really enjoy photography. 

Arisu / @arisarthell

Nationality: Venezuelan

The Latin America line is huge on this list, and I confess that I’m loving it! Arisu is a 24-year-old Venezuelan artist who loves music and cute things!

How long have you been drawing and what are your main inspirations?

I’ve been drawing for a very long time and my inspiration is mostly BTS and my own ocs.

My style… could be considered colorful, soft and simple; very anime/webtoon inspired maybe? And I love making people happy with my art 🍓

Ash / @ashanpan

Nationality: English-Japanese

Bringing totally different works and at the same time talking about serious and pertinent subjects in their arts, we have Ash! A non-binary and lesbian person who in addition to their amazing art is also a person with a great personality and somehow tries to express herself through their art.

What inspires you in your drawing style and why?

I’m an Army with a big fan of horror aspects and I love combining BTS and Horror. One of my biggest inspirations is my favourite manga artist Junji Ito and I’m currently making a comic called Grim Reapers and Demons with BTS as the main inspiration!

Fanny / @pan_ninie

Nationality: French

Fanny is a 25 year-old artists from France. She is know online as @pan_ninie and she draw – almost – exclusively BTS fanarts!

I know this is quite a hard question to ask, but how would you explain you art style?

I would say my style is not very realistic but I focus more on colours, atmosphere and lighting to convey a specific feeling. My drawing skills have been evolving a lot since I started doing fanarts back in 2017! I can safely say it is thanks to K-Pop that I still draw today. 

Everyday I’m so thankful for this community and for the people supporting my work online, it’s one of the things that makes me the happiest 😊

Nationality: Polish

Creating an art with very unique traits and at the same time breaking several taboos about clothing, we have @finding.ki a university student who describes their work as a stylized semi-realism. And besides all of this, she also writes an AU based on the manga/anime Ouran High School Host Club!

How long have you been an army and then decided to actually start drawing fanarts?

I’ve been a BTS ARMY since 2019 and they’ve inspired me to start drawing again after over two years of being artblocked 😊

Emily / @quaphadoodle

Nationality: Canadian

Emily, who some people also call Quaphie, is a Canadian who has lived almost all her life in the United States; she started drawing with 4 years old and hasn’t stopped since!

How – more or less – your routine to be creative works and how would you define your drawing style?

I mainly draw chibis and anime-styled portraits. Honestly, every day I wake up and do something I love. I couldn’t be happier with where I am in life because I’m able to create art and showcase my passion.

I am very grateful to those who support me and my boba addiction haha.

Nationality: French (Alsace)

Born in 1996, Mashitrique é is from France (Alsace) and started to draw when she was with 20/21 years old!

How did you started drawing and, besides your inspirations, what do you want to reach the most as an artists in nowadays?

I started to draw because of BTS to find my own way, drawing them seemes very inspiring. Even though I have started through comics, drawing the boys taught me a lot; especially in finding my artistic style which is defined by a stylized art mixed with comics.

I hope to become a comic book artist, even if I’ve already released a Webtoon. And nowadays I’m working on a new BL Webtoon!
