The  “COME TO BRAZIL” CAME HERE! During his visit to Brazil for the Korean Experience (KXP), guest artist Beomham received the K4US team at the press conference and told us in an exclusive interview everything that people most wanted to know. Come with us to know more about this charismatic artist who is a sensation on social media, his projects for the future, creative processes and what he thought of Brazilian fans.

Congratulations on the debut of “Me, Myself & I”, we know that everything was done independently and that it couldn’t have been easy. So we wanted to know what were the biggest challenges in this production process?

Beomham: Making this project alone was definitely challenging. I had to fit all these little parts [of the project] together. So, for example, I needed to find a video director, rent a space, compose the music and all of this in a short period of time. This whole process reminded me how much I love music. So that was the big learning experience I had during [the process] of “Me, Myself & I”.

We know that debuting in the K-pop industry, even under a large company, is a laborious process that requires a lot of dedication. What was it like for you to go through this process independently?

Beomham: I love k-pop, so do not understand what I’m going to say as an offense for someone. But this question comes back to the reason why I started to do music and the answer is that I truly love this. Being evolved on the process from the beginning to the end reminded me of this love and made me have the will to continue doing this and proceed, but more than anything else, for the love that I have in creating music.

Behind the scenes of any creation and production process often yields many stories. Do you have any funny or unusual stories you could share with us?

Beomham: Of the production process? So, a curious fact: I did singing classes for this debut and I didn’t know how to look for these classes, since I was already handling all the process by myself. So I searched “singing classes, please” (on the internet) and that took me to meet my teacher all Wednesday in a space without a bathroom. Actually, it had a bathroom, but it had no door.

Your debut and then re-debut came with “Me, Myself & I” at the beginning of the year, which also coincided with your birthday and you received a lot of support from fans, but also hate on social media. How do you deal with the pressure of being a former trainee and independent artist?

Beomham: I treat all criticism and messages of support with the same mindset. I just get this feedback, which I know is not personal, even from the people who have supported and loved me since the beginning. If they’re enjoying it, that’s fine with me. I know I worked hard to produce this project and I want to build something that makes people look forward to the future. This is something that makes me excited for the future and I hope to cause the same feeling in the fans.

You always openly talk about mental health and bring out important topics that the industry treats as a taboo. How important was it for you to talk about the difficulties you were going through behind the scenes? At the same time do you think this exposure ended up being negative somehow?

Beomham: There are definitely negative aspects to talking about mental health so openly and I believe this is the reason why people don’t like to talk about it. I also think that talking about this subject and your private life, at the same time as being a public figure, is something that requires a lot of courage. I wanted to represent this in the way I present myself to the public and I hope to be able to inspire people to talk about it.

“Me, Myself & I” is just the beginning of your career and we look forward to following your next works. Do you already know what your next steps will be? What can we expect from Beomhan?

Beomham: I want “Me, Myself & I ” to be a milestone for the future and I’m excited to share with everyone that I will be releasing an album soon. I hope that you will continue to show this great unending support and that I will be able to perform well for you, reaching and exceeding your expectations.

It is your first time in Brazil and yesterday you could have a hint on how wild, loyal and passionate the audience is. Can you tell us how this experience was for you and which was your favorite part?

Beomham: I loved it to feel the genuine love of the Brazilian fans. I felt very special and I believe that this is the special talent that you guys have. So, I really want to come back and feel all this love and passion again. Thank you so much, Brazil!

What message would you like to leave to your fans on your first visit to Brazil?

Beomham: Hi, Brazil, my name is Beomhan. I love you! I love you guys and I will see you again! Bye! And a huge hug for K4US!

Isn’t he a sweetheart? Being a former FM Entertainment trainee and now an independent artist, Beomhan had his debut in January 2024 with the single “Me, Myself & I”, and the news about his first album left fans euphoric.
